Personal Software Development

I have always enjoyed writing software and wrote my first computer program at the age of eleven or twelve. I started writing small computer programs to learn new programming languages, frameworks, or techniques and continue the practice today.

iPhone Development

I have created several applications for the iPhone & iPod touch, some of which are for sale on the Apple App Store. For details see my iPhone Software Development page.

Squares

December 20, 2008

My latest application is a software version of Dots and Boxes, which I am calling Moose Ware Squares. This project was an educational endeavor with a focus on data structures and the "State Pattern." The application was designed to run on 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, and Vista and written in C++ and MFC.

The application was tested on XP, and Vista.

The Memorization Assistance Tool

The Memorization Assistance Tool was written for the Pocket PC  when my father-in-law asked for a computer program to help in memorization of text blocks. After using the tool for a year, he said the tool had helped him memorize text 40% faster than other methods he had tried.
